THE singers recently performed their first concert of the year with a variety of songs under the watchful eye of musical director John Clark.
A duet sung by Elaine Benson and Val Burroughes and two lovely piano solos by Stephen Watkins, the choir's pianist, were included in the two-part programme.
The compere was Ian Cox, who kept the programme running to schedule with pleasant badinage.
The whole evening was enjoyed by a good audience, who joined in an ''Old Tyme'' sing-song with great gusto.
Should anyone wish to join the choir, they will be welcome and can get more details by calling Mr Clark on 401404 or by visiting the website: www.arrowvalesinges.co.uk
