LATE on Tuesday night, Dr Littlejohn was driving from Redditch along the Evesham Road, the horse swerved round to Feckenham Road and on being brought back, came into collision with a lamppost.
The trap was overturned and the occupants thrown out, Dr Littlejohn being considerably cut and bruised about the head and face and badly shaken.
The coachman escaped with a sever shaking.
One of the shafts of the trap was broken.
The doctor is making satisfactory progress towards recovery.
