IF you are interested in history and have a few hours to spare, then a Stoke Heath tourist attraction needs you.
Avoncroft Museum, which houses a fascinating world of historic buildings covering seven centuries, needs extra members to sign up for its active team of volunteers.
The group wants to extend in several areas and those who come forward would mainly provide information to the public and school groups and help with an active and exciting events programme and, most importantly, cover the site's windmill.
The feature was damaged twice by vandals earlier this year and is currently unable to 'sail' but is still open to the public thanks to the work of staff, volunteers and the museum's own miller.
If you enjoy working with people of all ages and want a challenge, call Avoncroft's volunteer co-ordinator Gemma Baker on (01527) 8311363.
Alternatively, you can attend a volunteer recruitment day at the museum on May 9 from 10.30am to 1pm.
