TOP fifties pop singer, Dennis Lotus is to appear as a special guest at Broadway's Lifford Hall with the Broadway Quintet on April 27.
Ronny Verrell on drums, Don Lusher on trombone, Geoff Eales on piano, Ray Babbington on Bass and Vic Ash on tenor sax and clarinet make up the talented group - all former musicians of the late band leader Ted Heath.
Village entertainment organiser, Dave Smith said: "The lads are back and there's not one of them under 50 but they are still as great as they were in their heyday.
"I've named them the Broadway Quintet for our evening, and when Dennis Lotus got to know about our show he asked to be included in the line-up.
"He's now 73 and has appeared at the Lifford Hall before. He thinks Broadway is a great village."
Radio 2's Malcolm Laycock is to present the show which starts at 8pm.
