ENTRIES are flooding in for the younger starring roles in this year's Stourport Carnival but organisers are appealing for more interest from carnival Queen wannabes.
The closing date for entries before judging takes place is Monday, April 30 and carnival publicity officer Pete Roberts said there had been a healthy number of entries for rosebud and princess roles.
However, he is on the lookout for more Queen entries ahead of the big day on Saturday, September 1.
Judging takes place at Stourport Sports Club, Kingsway, on Sunday, May 13.
For entry forms call into his Pete's Prints shop in Bridge Street, Stourport, or call him on 01299 826930.
