TICKETS are selling well for a charity ball designed to "give something back to Stourport".
The Stourport Business Association's Spring Ball is being staged in partnership with the town's rotary club and profits will go towards the project to restore Stourport's riverside bandstand.
Business association chairman Russell Hinton said a tombola would also be held throughout the evening to help raise money and urged people to donate prizes.
He added: "Absolutely anyone is welcome to come along and I guarantee a superb night. The money raised will be put into the fund towards payment for restoring the bandstand and give back what was taken away some years ago.
"The bandstand will give great entertainment to the people of Stourport as well as attracting more visitors."
Tickets for the ball at Bewdley's Heath Hotel on Saturday, April 28 are available by calling 01299 822886.
