A SCHOOL'S boiler house roof was damaged when arsonists pushed a flaming wheelie bin up against the building.
Kidderminster Pol-ice said the incident at St Anne's Middle School in Wyre Hill, Bewdley, at about 5.30am on Tuesday was the latest in a spate of similar attacks.
Considerable dam-age was caused to the roof by the fire, which spread from the bin to the boiler house after the vandals had set fire to its contents.
Chief Insp Mark Williams said: "People who start these fires have no idea of the contents of the bin and may end up injuring themselves by causing an explosion."
He also warned people to keep wheelie bins away from buildings to reduce the risk of fire spreading in the event of an arson attack.
Two people are facing court proceedings after being arrested following a similar incident.
Anyone with information about the fire at the school should call Kidderminster Police on 01562 820888.
