I HAVE today discovered a new way to while away my leisure hours: take my rubbish to the newly refurbished waste disposal site in Stourport.
There I can sit for hours in a long, slow-moving queue of cars. There I can observe the local populace getting more and more frustrated and angry, stopping their vehicles in such ridiculous places to disgorge their rubbish.
There, if I had realised it, would be such entertaining fun, I could take my family on an all-day picnic.
You won't miss all the fun if you have just a few newspapers and bottles to dispose of - you will simply be forced to rejoin the queue to be taken around the one-way system with all your new-found friends.
Who on earth designed such a ridiculous mess? I thought we were being encouraged to recycle our rubbish.
For me, I will now revert to what I did many years ago, and what I know many people still do - dump all their rubbish in their bins.
