REFERRING to the siting of a telephone box at Rock, it is disgraceful that a handful of children from Rock village seem to think that the way to spend their time is by damaging other people's property and intimidating motorists as they drive through the village.

A report in the Kidderminster Shuttle, perhaps two years ago, said that children in the village had nowhere to play, and a deputation of children and parents came to a parish council meeting to voice their concerns.

They were given a temporary play area.

Why didn't these disruptive children play on it?

Why don't their parents take them to clubs at Far Forest or Great Witley?

It is about time the parents took more notice of what their children are up to in the evenings.

Hopefully, when the Millennium Green and the new village hall are opened parents will arrange for clubs to keep their children's interests away from yobbishness and vandalism.
