CHADDESLEY Corbett turned in a disciplined display to beat Mahal 2-0 at the Hadley Stadium in Division One South on Saturday.
Mahal previously had the best home record in the league with only one defeat all season.
Neither side took the initiative in the first half with both defences solid though Mahal keeper Suthpal Bisel had to pull off a superb save from Gavin Knight's close-range effort.
Chaddesley, who brought in Phil Baker for injured striker Andrew Baylis, took the lead early in the second half when Chris Bow capped a fine display with a goal.
Bow received the ball just outside the box, side-stepped his marker and unleashed a left-foot shot which flew into the net.
Mahal tried to keep their home record intact but Chaddesley were playing too well.
Stuart Jordan sealed victory late on when he broke clear to calmly side-foot home.
Fixture, Saturday: Lye Town Res v Chaddesley (League, 3pm, meet at Land Oak for 1.15pm).
Squad: Batsford, Baker, Homer, Billings, A Baylis, Pountney, Kilgour, Hodges, Drew, R Ash, Jordan, Knight, Phillips, E Baylis, Burton, Bow.
Meanwhile, Bewdley Town's championship hopes took a blow with a 3-2 defeat at home to Sedgley, making Saturday's trip to challengers Ledbury (3pm) all the more crucial.
