AN inquest has heard how a 26-year-old Stourport woman died after the motorcycle she was travelling on was crushed by an articulated lorry.
Deborah Barnett, of Seven Hills Drive, was a pillion passenger on a Kawasaki Solo motorcycle when it was in collision with the lorry on the A491 Lydiate Ash to Hagley road at the Clent junction.
The motorcycle rider, 30-year-old Christopher Shaughnessy, of Ludlow, also died in the incident which happened at 2pm last Tuesday. The lorry driver was unhurt.
Worcestershire coroner Victor Round told Tuesday's Stourbridge inquest the cause of death for both people was multiple injuries.
Mrs Barnett leaves a husband, Andrew, and Mr Shaughnessy leaves his wife Lisa.
Mr Round adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
