MOSELEY are visiting us for an National League Division One local 'derby' on Saturday -- and we know exactly what we've got to do!
And that's to make a far better start than we did last Saturday when we entertained Orrell here at Sixways.
More comments about that match later, but the main thing we are focusing on now is Moseley's eagerly-awaited visit.
Against a side like Moseley it's vitally important that we get a good start because, believe me, they are really going to be fired up for this one.
It will be the third time we have played them this season, beating them 34-6 in the third round of the Tetley Bitter Cup in October and then losing our league match there 22-15 a couple of months later.
It was all our mistakes that cost us when we played them in the league, but in the cup we beat them convincingly.
This Saturday we are facing each other again and we have to get our continuity into the game which we couldn't get against Orrell on Saturday in the first half.
I don't see us changing any of our tactics or anything. I just think on Saturday that we went too wide too early, but we'll just have to mix it a bit better.
One thing is certain, though, there will be a magnificent atmosphere at the ground on Saturday. A local derby always brings out the best.
Anyway, back to the Orrell match for a minute or two.
In the end, of course, we won 67-13 but found ourselves trailing 13-10 at half-time.
The astonishing thing was that we produced probably the worst and best 40 minutes of rugby we have seen all season.
You have to be perplexed by that, but in the end it all came out right on the day.
In the first half we just had no desire and our execution of things was poor. We couldn't control the ball and were just throwing it away.
We need to build into games and I have to admit I really lost my rag a bit at half-time because I think we just showed the game and our supporters no respect.
I don't think it was anything to do with our technique or anything, but we certainly had a bit of an attitude by-pass to say the least.
But for me it was a great turn-around in the second half and I must say I was delighted with Nick Baxter who capped a fine substitute display with a double try burst.
I have to say, though, that we gave the team a big rollicking at half-time, but the idea was to get a bit of respect back in the game.
We told them to play for each other and go out there and do it for the supporters and the club.
The Leeds match is history now and we can't hang onto the past. We have got to move on.
We had to make some a few changes during the match and what happened we just kept the ball straight away from the kick-off in the second half.
Our handling was fantastic and Orrell just fell away really.
Anyway, it's full steam ahead now for Saturday's match against Moseley. I think you'll see a few guys like Andrew Lamerton coming back in now and there's maybe a bit of talk about using Andy Higgins as well from perhaps off the bench.
