For charity

The evening will include support from Maria Moll, the internationally renowned soprano, Cheltenham Symphony Orchestra and The Ferndale Singers. Tickets for the June 9 event, in aid of Cancer Research, are available from Worcester Cathedral Shop and Worcester Tourist Information Centre priced or on 0121 2121707.
Galleries showcased
TWO Broadway galleries will be showcased in London's art world. The John Noott Gallery has secured a place at the sixth annual Chelsea Art Fair, in London's King's Road from April 26 to 29. Amanda Johnson, director of the gallery, will be exhibiting the work of seven artists she described as "traditionally modern" in style. She added: "Broadway is one of the biggest art centres outside London".
Start at the very beginning
YOU know the songs so well - now you can sing along with Julie Andrews and ensure the Everyman Theatre is alive to the Sound of Music. The cult Sing-along-a-Sound Of Music is coming to the Cheltenham Theatre on Saturday, in which the film is shown with subtitled songs so the audience can join in too. It's guaranteed to be an evening of riotous hilarity and silly stunts and fancy dress is encouraged with a prize for the best-dressed audience member. A host will front the evening and guide the audience through proceedings which begin at 7pm. It's usually a sellout but you can check seats on 01242 572573.
