PARISH COUNCIL: The council is concerned that the repairs to the safety barrier at Fenhill Close have still not been carried out and that two people had fallen on the pathway in the village.
The pathway to Moreton is in a very poor condition. The county council will be asked when the repair work will be done. There is still the problem of speeding traffic and in response to requests from residents the council agreed to ask for the 30mph limit to be extended at both ends of the village.
Due to foot and mouth restrictions, the planting of the millennium wood is postponed and it was agreed that it would not be appropriate to enter the Bledisloe Cup competition this year.
The council will be responding to the Draft Supplementary Planning Guidance - Lorries in the Vale of Evesham, as this could affect the traffic through the village on the A44.
