Southam 9
Pershore 12
PERSHORE fulfilled their potential and have gained promotion.
An extremely hard physical game, played at pace was ultimately won through the forwards.
Southam have not lost at home in two seasons, but Pershore were not to be denied victory. From start to finish Pershore took the game to Southam up front.
Pershore enjoyed powerful scrummaging, a line-out which denied Southam almost all their own ball and a back row where Levin Widmer was supreme.
Although the scoreline suggests otherwise Pershore were in control.
The second half was one-way traffic, but to be fair Southam's defence was excellent.
Robin Haines kicked four penalties to Southam's three.
From one to 15, Pershore were excellent but in particular the back row of Jem Richardson, Toby Grace and Levin Widmer were outstanding.
