AN indie group from Stourport are offering an up-and-coming drummer the chance to make a banging impression in a new line-up.
Spinner need a drummer before they can get their show on the road again and bass player and vocalist Dave Glass said an "ideal opportunity" is awaiting talented musicians across Wyre Forest.
Dave and fellow Spinner members lead guitarist Adam Chester and singer Neil Jones have enjoyed successful gigs across the Midlands playing a selection of their own music and covers from Travis and The Stereophonics.
And the trio are determined their ambitions will not be halted by the loss of their last drummer.
Dave said: "There are a lot of young drummers out there, many of whom might be studying at Kidderminster College for example, and we want to hear from these people and give them the chance to come and rehearse with us.
"We think we have got a good sound and this could be the big opportunity we and the drummer have been waiting for."
He added: "We have played at the Robin R 'n' B Club in Brierley Hill and gone down well there.
"Myself and Neil were in another band called Jonah and the Whales and we did well together there. All three of us have performed together for about 10 years so we feel we are quite experienced and the drummer will have no problems settling in.
"We have about six tracks of our own ready to record but we cannot go that step further without a drummer."
Dave said the drummer should ideally be aged between 20 and 30 and be capable of playing a variety of music from 50s through to the present day.
