VALE businessman Peter Roper is appealing for as much support as possible in a bid to raise cash for a breast cancer charity.
Mr Roper is taking part in the national 2001 Playtex moonwalk together with staff and friends of Confidantes, the specialist underwear shop in Pershore.
Male and female powerwalkers from all over the country and abroad are being encouraged to decorate their bras for the 26.2 mile marathon which takes place in London on May 12.
Owner of Confidantes, Viviennne Hodson said: "We have a team entering the marathon, some of whom have been personally touched in some way by cancer.
"Confidantes will be having an open day in its premises at 19 High Street, Pershore, to raise money for sponsorship.
"Everyone will be welcome, not only breast cancer patients, as there will be plenty of items available to buy for all."
