MORE than 400 hopeful models packed the Riverside Shopping Centre in Evesham on Easter Monday.
They had all turned-up for a shot at stardom in the Model Search 2001 organised by the Riverside Centre, the Evesham Journal and FM 102 The Bear.
Helping to judge the four categories were Journal editor John Murphy and Sarah Newell from Elliott Brown Modelling Agency, from Oxford. The winners were:
Aged 4-6: Ross Paxton, aged 6 from South Littleton and Selina Spencer, aged 5, from Evesham. Both received trophies and £50 Riverside vouchers.
Aged 7-10: Ethan Cronin aged 10 from Evesham and sharing first place (and £50 voucher) were Maria Cridland, aged 10, from Rous Lench and Jodie Millward, aged 10 from Evesham.
Aged 11-15: Joe Naylor, aged 11 from Evesham and Harriet Appleby, aged 14 from Bretforton. Both received trophies and £50 vouchers.
Aged 16+: Robert Hands, aged 16 from Broadway and Lisa Walker, aged 22 from Evesham. Both received trophies and £100 vouchers.
