A CHARITY rally, originally scheduled for next month, has been postponed, due to the foot and mouth crisis.
The annual Challenge 100 Rally organised by the NSPCC was due to take place around hotels, pubs and other venues in Worcestershire on Saturday, May 12. It has now been put back to Saturday September 8.
"Some of our traditional supporters are in picturesque country pubs, which lie deep in the Worcestershire countryside," said a spokesman for the NSPCC's Appeals Office.
"In response to the effects of the foot and mouth crisis that they and their rural communities find themselves in, we have taken the decision to postpone the Challenge 100 Rally."
Anyone interested in taking part in the September event can contact the NSPCC Appeals Office on 01432 341122.
