FATHER Ted star Ardal O'Hanlon arrives in Cheltenham this week, as part of his UK tour.
The stand-up comedian is best known for his role as wide-eyed 'eejit' Father Dougal McGuire in Channel 4's comedy.
He is a previous winner of three Best Comedian awards and has travelled extensively as a live performer, including a sell-out run at the Irish Arts Centre in New York. Later in the year, he will return to New York for a solo stand-up TV special for Comedy Central.
Ardal is currently working on his second novel, following the success of his first book, The Talk Of The Town.
The show is at Cheltenham Town Hall on Tuesday (April 24), and starts at 8pm. Tickets start at £7.50, available from the box office on 01242 227979.
