RECENTLY I visited the Malvern Theatres Complex. On Sunday I listened to the Chandos Orchestra - an orchestra I feel equal to the ESO. On Saturday I went to see The Pajama Game. Both of these events were enjoyed enormously.

The Chandos Orchestra has members of considerable talent and I know that John Adams' composition was very testing for the orchestra, during rehearsals. But they convinced the audience that this was in no way as difficult to perform as to rehearse. Well done Chandos!

As for The Pajama Game' what fun it was. Babe (played by Harriet Franklin) was very professional and great fun to see her in that role. I do not know Harriet but I shall look forward to her next performance.
