AS a resident of Summerfield Road, who attended the public meeting on March 28 at Dyson Perrins High School to discuss plans for the development of the Lower Howsell Road allotment site, I think we were all amazed at the representative from Bovis Homes' attitude to the traffic problems which would arise from the building of 80 plus homes on the site.
The gentleman's answer to some of the problem was to install traffic lights at the junction of Lower Howsell Road and Worcester Road. Summerfield Road is already a rat run for people to miss out the lights. We can only imagine what it would become with further lights, Bovis' answer more lights! Who pays, who gains.
