THE alarming resurgence of tuberculosis in the East Midlands reminds us that the objectionable habit of spitting on pavements and elsewhere in public can add to the spread of disease.
I think many will agree there are already enough hazards on Malvern's pavements without the addition of unwanted phlegm.
