A J C Evans writes (You Say, April 9) of a better-funded state pension, and says we are not a poor nation.
Maybe, but as a 64-year-old, it seems to me there are more important needs to be funded than increased pensions - defence, health, education, crime prevention, environment protection, to name a few.
