I AM astounded by the recent twaddle sent to You Say by Mike Foster and his Labour Party cohorts accusing Richard Adams, the Conservative Party candidate, of being a part-time representative.
It is a fact that Richard is a successful businessman who has a lot of experience in management and dealing with everyday problems in life.
This is an excellent background for being an MP.
I suggest that these skills, coupled with a clear understanding of what is required by the people of the Faithful City, far outweigh what we have been subjected to in the last four years under the direction of our present MP Michael Foster, who has done very little to support Worcester people's interests.
I could do well without remembering in five years' time that my MP has increased the duties of lollipop ladies and little else for the people he represents in Parliament.
I ask the readers to look at the leadership qualities of Richard Adams who will strongly represent us at a local level in real matters in the next election and for the next five years at Westminster.
COUN ROD STAINES,
St Stephen Ward,
Worcester.
