VASECTOMIES are the unlikely topic for the latest play on at the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham.
Alan Bleasdale's Having A Ball is set in the waiting room of a private clinic, where three men are queuing for the 'snip'.
But things are not going as planned - secrets are revealed and plots unmasked as a drunken wife, a disgruntled nurse, and exasperated surgeon and an ageing Romeo make sure the patient's patience is soon running out.
The Birmingham Repertory Theatre production stars Sara Crowe, of Four Weddings and a Funeral fame, and Robert Duncan (Gus in Drop the Dead Donkey). The venue warns the show contains male nudity.
The production runs from Monday, April 23 to Saturday, April 28. Performances during the week are at 7.45pm and Saturday at 8pm. Matinees are at 2pm on Thursday (April 26) and 2.30pm on the Saturday.
Tickets start at £6, available from the box office on 01242 572573.
