SO, who accused Mr Spiteri of rehashing wartime "events"?

What he certainly did rehash was an ungrateful insult. Recognising our debt to America is simply facing facts, and Mr Spiteri is to be pitied if he can't tell the difference between gratitude and sycophancy.

Mr Spiteri is a selective reader of those "British history books" he speaks about.

Apart from discrediting his one-eyed refusal to give America the credit it deserves, they could also tell him plenty about sour French ingratitude towards Britain.
