SUPER-SUB Tom Warren's Christmases all came at once when he announced himself to Worcester fans with a sparkling Sixways debut.
The 20-year-old flanker scored with his first touch after coming on during Worcester's 43-17 win over Moseley. However, the try was all the more sweet because it was against the club he'd left to join Worcester two months ago.
He said: "It's unbelievable really -- a dream come true because it's also my first try in National One this season."
Warren has been waiting patiently for his chance since his February arrival at Worcester.
The youngster had been at Moseley since he was five years old. However, he was in no mood for mixed emotions and his try only underlined to him that he had made the right move.
"It's good to be in a fully professional environment and to look around the club -- you don't have to be Einstein to know that Worcester are going places.
"Since I came here I've really just sat back and tried to fit in," said Warren.
"Next season will be a big one for me and hopefully then I can begin to break into the team."
