EIGHTY new jobs could be created by specialist window firm Coldseal after rocketing demand for its products in Worcestershire.

The company, which operates in the Midlands and has a multi-million pound turnover, is experiencing a recruitment boom as its nationwide team of specialist fitters become inundated with orders for windows, doors and conservatories.

"We are still able to provide a good service for our customers as our fitters are working round-the-clock, seven days a week but it is essential that we recruit new installers to keep track with our growing sales and minimise lead times," said Chris Wilson, head of sales.

"Spring is one of our busiest times of the year, making our recruitment needs even more acute."

Working with Wilmorton College in Derby, Coldseal now funds training at two of its seven service centres and aims to extend the programme nationwide.
