WATCH your back Carl Fogarty --there's a new race ace out to take your crown.
Droitwich youngster Christopher Jones is the talent in question, and the ten-year-old has a glittering racing career ahead of him.
The Winterfold House Private School pupil is currently leading the way in three mini moto racing championships, including the British series.
After finishing third in his debut season last year, Chris is sweeping the board this term, having won a staggering nine trophies already. His performances have seen Aprilla Racing offer him a drive with them when he turns 12.
But his victories for Swindon-based Team GRC UK haven't been easy.
Round-trip
He has to make the 100-mile round-trip to Newark in Nottinghamshire to practice on Sundays, not to mention the travelling involved with racing all over the country, courtesy of dad, Clive.
Proud mum Pam explained: "Chris lives for it and his school are 100 per cent behind him, but he desperately needs somewhere local to practice at.
"He races outdoors on go-kart tracks but it would be great if someone could provide a large space of some kind for him to practice on -- something like an industrial estate car park. "
Chris also needs extra sponsorship to support his demanding 22-weekends-a-year pursuit. Pam and Clive, who run CJ Motorcycles in Droitwich, provide full sponsorship, but more is needed.
