WARWICKSHIRE County Council is set to vote on May 22 on whether or not to recommend options 2 or 3a of the proposed Studley bypass.
Anyone who attended the recent Redditch Town Hall meeting on April 11 about the bypass will be left in no doubt as to how strongly Redditch residents, like myself, feel about these proposals.
Not one person who attended this packed meeting was in favour of either option 2 or 3a, which would both run very close to a large number of Redditch houses.
Such houses would experience a lot more noise and pollution as a result of either option going ahead.
I know there are thousands of Redditch residents who are totally opposed to these plans.
It is now essential that you let both Warwickshire and Worcestershire County Councils know how strongly you feel prior to the May 22 vote.
Support SERRAG (Studley Eastern Relief Road Action Group) in its proposals for a 3a modified option which would run to the east of Studley and then use the existing A435 to the north of Studley.
This option is the best for both Redditch and Studley residents.
