A TOWN community hall could be spruced up if funds are secured.
Droitwich Spa Town Council wants to give the Heritage Way hall a makeover.
A working party has been formed to assess what repairs are needed. At a meeting on Monday, councillors agreed to seek funding from Wychavon District Council.
Town council leader Cllr Pam Davey (Con, Droit.South) said: "It needs a lot of work.
"We could patch it up but sooner or later a proper job will need to be done."
Cllr Eileen Hope (Con, Droit.South) told members: "We are in competition with other halls in the town and some of them are newer.
"If we don't keep our hall in good shape, people will go elsewhere."
