ASTWOOD Bank have been given the all-clear to compete in the Worcestershire Clubs League Division Two this season.
There were fears the club would be banned from competing after two cases of foot and mouth were diagnosed near the village but officials have said there is no cause for concern.
The club's pre-season preparations have been hit by damp weather with friendly trips to Olton and West Warwickshire on Saturday and Bretforton on Sunday cancelled.
The Sambourne Lane side entertain near neighbours Alcester and Ragley Park on Sunday (2pm start) and are hoping to organise another friendly on Saturday with the league starting the following week.
