WARWICKSHIRE Road Club staged their fifth evening 10-mile time trial on the infamous K37 cycling course.
Despite worsening weather conditions, a large field assembled at the start.
Warwicks hopeful Ian Ingram was unfortunate to puncture on the way to the start and was unable to carry out the necessary repairs in time to start the race.
Against a strong field Warwicks' top performance came from Martyn Bullard who rode a spectacular trial to finish third in 23 mins 28 secs.
Taking fourth just ten seconds behind was veteran Warwicks rider Ramin Minovi.
With the season hotting up some solid performances were given by Andy Simpkins, 24 mins 47 secs; Bob Badderley, 25 mins 49 secs; and Graham Lawrence in 27 mins 44 secs.
The 10-mile time trials continue throughout the summer.
And the club and riders are preparing themselves for the Open 50-mile time trial on Sunday, May 6.
