REDDITCH Sailing Club's officer of the day set a testing course under cold grey skies.
Both handicap and pursuit races used the same course and at times strong flick winds caught out even the most experienced.
Jackson and Dowkes, a new pairing, took the doubles winning both races, convincingly in the first, but by seconds in the second, ahead of Little and Brown.
Single-handers M Squirrel and D Wills came first and second in the first race.
Redditch Sailing Club is open all year round for Sunday morning sailing and have just started their Spring Series.
As they are in a non-agricultural area the club is fortunate not to be closed due to foot and mouth.
The club welcomes members from surrounding sailing clubs to join them if their own clubs have been closed on a temporary basis until they are able to resume sailing at their own club.
Sailing is on Sundays from 9.30am-1pm.
