KINGS Heath manager Sean Lawless is already planning for next season after admitting the Birmingham Senior Cup is all he has left this year.
The much-postponed fixture against West Brom was again called off last week after a pitch inspection at the eleventh hour.
With the First Division giants unable to play this week, the Kingsmen are now looking to play next week with Thursday the most likely date.
Alvechurch are on the Lye Meadow pitch on Tuesday and Friday and Kings Heath take on Handrahan Timbers on Wednesday, levaing only Monday and Thursday clear.
And Lawless said the quarter final is distracting his weary squad.
"The Senior Cup is all we have left this season," he said.
"You hold it up as a carrot to the lads but you can only do that for so long.
"With a number of them playing Sunday League it is a long season and it's hard to motivate them for league matches.
"We are an ageing squad and have to look to bring in some young blood next season."
Lawless is tracking young striker Ian Holden, who is playing for Silhill in the Birmingham AFA League and wants to bring midfielder Ashley Galbraith back to Lye Meadow.
Galbraith left Heath for struggling Highgate earlier in the season after failing to hold down a regular place.
Captain Dean Donaghie is suspended for a week after reaching five bookings and misses the trip to Romulus, which has been switched to tonight (ko 7.45pm), and the visit of Coventry Sphinx on Saturday (ko 2.45pm).
The defender is set to return for the Handrahan game next Wednesday (ko 7.30pm).
