REDDITCH cemetery has been condemned as a "ruddy disgrace" by a local councillor.
"There are mounds of earth, wheelbarrows and workmen's shovels every where. I found it disgusting," Councillor Bill Lock said.
The attack came at a meeting of the town's amenities committee.
Councillor Lock said he had recently attended a funeral at the cemetery.
"I found it a ruddy disgrace. As well as all the other things lying about, the matting at the side of the graves was yellow when it should have been green," he said.
Councillor Elwyn Cole, who said he too had recently attended a funeral at the cemetery, said: "The grave digger was there during the service. It should have been moved for the sake of decency."
