SIX vehicles were targeted on a hotel car park when raiders went on a district-wide thieving spree at the weekend.
Police, who are appealing for witnesses to the incidents, said locations varied but pubs and hotels seem to have been especially singled out.
At the Hilton Hotel, in Birmingham Road, Marlbrook, the owners of six cars returned to find their vehicles damaged and items stolen.
The pattern was repeated elsewhere.
Car parks at the Turk's Head pub, in Worcester Road, The Jarvis Perry Hall Hotel and Hanover International Hotel and Club, both in Kidderminster Road, were targeted as was the car park near the Market Hall in the town centre.
PC Andy Chinn, from Bromsgrove police, said thieves are attracted to items they can see left on show inside vehicles and cause damage when they break into get them.
He added: "We are warning motorists about the perils of leaving valuables on display inside their cars and encourage them to lock them out of sight."
Anyone who saw anything suspicious at any of the locations is asked to ring police on (01527) 584888.
