ROWNEY Green Players' spring production looks set to be a stormer - not to mention a timely piece of work with the General Election in the offing.
The Players will be presenting Ray Cooney's Out of Order tomorrow, Friday and Saturday at the Rowney Green Peace Hall, writes Helen Clarke.
The comedy revolves around a junior Government minister who plans an illicit liaison with a member of the opposition.
They discover a dead body which sets the scene for some classic Cooney capers.
Players' stage manager Sue Walker said: "It's a nice light-hearted production and anyone up for a good laugh will enjoy it.
"It's also quite fast moving."
Mrs Walker added: "The group started in 1923 as a Shakespearean company but we've done all sorts over the years and we just find that people really enjoy the comedies."
Mrs Walker said the group was hoping to stage Allo Allo in the Autumn.
Tickets cost £4 (£3.50 concessions) and doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
