THANK you for publishing the photograph taken at my charity evening on March 30 at Pershore College of Horticulture (of myself) Betty Hughes and Ian Willox Scotch piper, who was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening.
Unfortunately the details were printed incorrectly, can you please amend as follows:
The Pershore and District Round Table had three members attending their chairman Mr Peter Nield made a special cheque presentation of £500 each to Pershore Cottage Hospital, The County Air Ambulance and Pershore Theatre for the Arts Association, making a total of £1,500.
He also gave Jenny Dunne (Perscoran Brass member) a cheque for £50, towards her voluntary work assignment in Tanzania.
My charity evening proceeds were £375. I have donated £200 to PODYS, £100 to Perscoran Brass and £25 each to St John Ambulance Cadets, Pershore Troop Army Cadet Force and Pershore 233 Squad Air Training Corps.
I extend sincere thanks to all who attended and donated towards this very successful and enjoyable evening.
BETTY HUGHES, Councillor, Mrs, MBE, Nogains, Pershore.
