AN all-Badsey final is still on the cards after both Rangers and United saw off opponents in the quarter-finals of the Stratford Alliance's R M Smith Cup.
United provided the shock of the weekend with a 2-1 win over Bret-forton Sports courtesy of goals from Andy Rogers and Arron McDermott.
Andy Clements hit a hat-trick for Rangers in a 4-2 defeat of FISSC Reserves, for whom Marco Pace replied with a brace.
The Badsey pair were joined in the last four by Halfords who hit three goals without reply to oust Studley. Matt Hudson scored twice.
Top flight strugglers United, though, were sent crashing out of the Nursing Home Cup when a solitary goal gave Campden Town victory. The Herald Division One champions will now face newly crowned Premier Division champions Shipston Excelsior - 2-0 winners at Bidford - in the final.
Further midweek knockout action saw Railway Lions, Tysoe United and Alcester Lions book places in the Alun Rees Trophy semi-finals.
Railway Lions recorded a 13th straight Cutler Division Two triumph when they won 2-0 at Henley Forest last Saturday. And, in doing so extended their advantage over their nearest rivals to 14 points after Spartak Park's 4-4 draw at Shipston. Peter Robinson and Jim Brooks both scored twice.
