Pershore Town 4
PERSHORE came back from a goal down to record an emphatic win on a bumpy pitch at Chasetown.
The home side opened the scoring in the 13th minute when Dale Marriot converted a cross from the left wing.
Pershore then proceeded to miss several gilt-edged chances with Gary Mole, Ian Stewart and Glen Burrow all squandering good chances.
At the start of the second half Pershore pushed forward again and were finally rewarded in the 59th minute when Stewart scored from close-range after good work by Gary Crewe.
Eight minutes later, Jon Gregory put Pershore ahead after Gary Smith had set him up on the edge of the area.
The third goal came in the 85th minute when Mole was tripped and Dean Emerson scored from the spot.
Stewart grabbed his second a minute from time when Mole found him unmarked on the six-yard line.
