HAVING read the article in the Kidderminster Shuttle on April 19, regarding the present foot and mouth epidemic, I think it is only fair to separate fact from fiction.
The MAFF spokesperson claims that the burning of animals at Sparum Farm, Stanklyn Lane, started on April 5 and burned for four to five days.
The fact is, the burning started on March 15 and lasted for over four weeks.
Animals from other farms were also involved in this burning.
I know, because I live only yards from the farm.
This is yet another classic example of a failed MAFF cover-up, which only serves to illustrate that this over-powerful and "untouchable" organisation has lost track of its duty to serve the people of this community, and should at least be made accountable for its actions.
