STOURPORT Swifts must still play catch-up in the Midland Alliance but they turn their attention to League Cup duty tonight.
Swifts will take a full-strength side to Bridgnorth, weather permitting, in the semi-final bidding to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg.
They are still unbeaten in the league this year after Saturday's excellent 3-0 win at title rivals Oadby.
But Tuesday's visit to Wednesfield was one of a host of games to be postponed with only Barwell playing and winning 2-1 against Stratford.
The Leicestershire club are top, seven points ahead of Swifts who still have two games in hand, while Rushall are five points ahead in second place.
It means Rod Brown's men have to keep winning with Boldmere visiting Walshes Meadow on Saturday and Oadby visiting on Tuesday (7.45pm).
Assistant boss Gary Whild was less than happy with the postponement.
Whild said: "It was a bit of a farce. There was quite a heavy shower an hour beforehand, leaving surface water. But that had all gone by 7pm.
"It did give the players the chance to rest a bit and we will put out our strongest side at Bridgnorth.
"If we win all our games now the worst we can finish is second because Rushall and Barwell have to play each other. And hopefully, a result somewhere will go our way."
Swifts' key midfielder Lea Shaw is suspended for a week from Monday, while Mark Dearlove (knee) and Brendan Hackett (thigh) both battle against injury.
At the weekend, Swifts produced the goods at Oadby with their strike force coming up trumps.
Paul Moore opened the scoring on 26 minutes when he collected a Lee Booth pass before beating Jason Trinder in the home goal.
They were 2-0 up five minutes later when Booth scored his 33rd goal in the league with a miscued effort.
Swifts made sure of three vital points with a bizarre goal 13 minutes from the end.
As Trinder tried to play the ball out of the goal, he ran into Moore who accepted his second of the match.
Fixtures, tonight: Bridgnorth v Swifts (League Cup semi-final second leg, 7.45pm). Saturday: Swifts v Boldmere (League, 3pm). Tuesday: Swifts v Oadby (League, 7.45pm).
