BRINTONS lifted the Worcestershire Saturday Junior Cup for the first time on Saturday after a 1-0 win over County Sports at Aggborough.
A penalty from the experienced John Maffei five minutes from time secured the trophy for the Banks's Brewery League Division One South leaders.
Brintons lost the final two years ago against Claines but this time edged a close clash with their Midland Combination Division One opponents from Worcester.
Now they turn their attention to the league - their first season at West Midlands level - as they are six points ahead of Ledbury who have four games to make up.
Delighted boss Andy Maiden said: "We are all over the moon. It's the first time we've ever won it and we're the second Kidderminster side to win it after Wyre Forest last year.
"After knocking out Wyre Forest earlier in the competition, that made it an even bigger achievement for us.
"At the moment, we are still top of our league and are looking to finish runners-up at least behind Ledbury. It's just made it a really good season for us."
Brintons came into the cup final as the form team but neither side managed to gain the upper hand and there were few chances.
However, late in the game, Maffei latched onto a pass in the penalty box and his quick turn resulted in him being brought down.
He converted the penalty himself and the goal was enough to win the cup for Brintons.
They included former West Bromwich Albion man Wayne Dobbins who replaced cup-tied sweeper Rob Dew and Adam Baylis returned for the clash.
Maiden added: "There's a good atmosphere between the players and they've gelled together well.
"The rest of the team has really gelled around Duncan Flowers in midfield who has had an excellent end to the season.
"We were not expecting this. We could have wrapped the league up but for giving away soft results at the start of the season.
"But we're happy now to sit with the points in the bag and are just waiting to play Bewdley Town in our final game."
