NORTH Midlands will be boosted by the availability of Worcester trio Jon Higgins, Neil Mason and Peter Knight for the Tetley's Under-20 County Championship semi-final against Yorkshire at Moseley's Bournbrook ground on Sunday (2.30pm).
All three missed the quarter-final victory over Cheshire earlier this month because number eight Knight was sidelined by a knee injury and flanker Mason and fly-half Higgins were on club duty.
The return of Higgins means that Stephen Nutt, the North Midlands captain, will move from fly-half to full back, and Alex Davidson of Luctonians will switch from number eight to his more familiar position of lock to accommodate Knight.
North Midlands will also have their first choice props Paul Coles and Aaron Mulvey, who both play for Moseley, back in action. Coles missed the Cheshire game because he was on holiday and Mulvey was ruled out with a calf injury.
This is the first time that North Midlands have reached the last four of the last competition, and they will be attempting to reach the final which will be played at Twickenham on May 26.
