A DRUNKEN streaker who ran on to the Aggborough pitch during the Harriers' match against Shrewsbury on March 31 has been banned from all football matches for three months.
When Kevin Griffiths, 33, was arrested he told police: "I am sorry. I had to do it. It was great." He was drunk, said prosecutor Liz Tweed.
Griffiths, of Conway Drive, Shrewsbury, admitted illegally interrupting a game by going onto the pitch. He was fined £100, with £60 costs.
He had been responsible for a harmless bit of fun said his solicitor, Ruth Edwards.
As a result of his two minutes of madness his wife had not spoken to him for some time.
A full page newspaper picture had been pasted up at his work and he had suffered from his friends' comments.
He had been a football fan for 28 years with no record of causing trouble.
