ENERGETIC Wyre Forest runners took to the streets of London to complete the city's famous marathon on Sunday.
Andrew Johnson, originally of Great Witley, did not have far to travel to get under starter's orders as he now lives in the capital.
He completed the race in 3hr 45mins and raised £2,000 for Whizz-kids, the charity which provides wheelchairs for disabled children.
The 36-year-old's achievements were all the more remarkable as only eight days earlier he had completed the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon in Cape Town, South Africa.
Kidderminster's Tony Calloway, 35, completed the run in 5hr 20mins and raised £500 for the disabled unit at Franche First School where his son is a pupil.
Mr Calloway has had a busy fitness schedule recently after competing in the Tough Guy Challenge in Wolverhampton in January.
