AN inventor hopes a safety product he has designed will hit the right note with pop fans.
Kidderminster's Jim Reid hopes to sell one million of his multi-purpose reflective seat belt covers emblazoned with the name of the Irish boy band Westlife.
Mr Reid, of Chaffinch Drive, has struck a deal with the heart-throb's management and has also secured a contract with the Bradford Bulls rugby league team.
Further deals are in the pipeline with Manchester United, Chelsea and popstars Hear'Say.
The patented JR Reflectors were devised six years ago to encourage youngsters to belt up in cars.
The reflectors, which are marketed under the name Be Safe Be Seen, can also be used by cyclists, or put on schoolbags or coats.
Mr Reid said: "Sometimes the idea has been slow to take off but I really think the Westlife deal will get my invention known across the world.
"This is definitely going to be my big break."
