KIDDERMINSTER Harriers' infamous match announcer has succeeded where his team has failed this season - by winning a trophy.
Captain Crazy has been voted DJ of the year by his peers in the Central Association of Disc Jockeys.
The Captain - aka Roger Harris - has been match announcer at the Aggborough club for more than 16 years, and is well known to fans for his bizarre sense of humour.
The association has more than 40 members who chose Captain Crazy for the honour of member of the year. The trophy was presented by president Gordon Astley, who has worked at radio stations across the Midlands.
Mr Harris said he had been a cabaret DJ since 1966 - and had "no intention of hanging up his boots just yet"
He added: "It was nice to get a little acknowledgement from people in the same business."
